The Fig Tree restaurant is set in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint, close to the heart of the beautiful South Downs National Park where James and Jodie grew up. They are now delighted to take over The Fig Tree in their local village.
James has previously worked at the Michelin Star Ockenden Manor Restaurant and continued on to become the head chef at the highly regarded Ginger Fox. Jodie has worked in the hospitality/catering industry with James in France and on a Greek Island and most recently has been nursing at the Princess Royal Hospital. Jodie (nee Miller) has also worked for many years with her father in his well known local shop, Clive Miller butchers.
The Fig Tree already has a strong reputation for exceptional quality and presentation. Seating 40 and with a private dining room soon to be available. James and Jodie with their experienced team will be using local suppliers and the freshest ingredient to the highest quality. Presenting the very best of fine dining cuisine and excellent wines in an informal and relaxed setting with excellent customer service
